Cassava derivatives equipment processing cassava flour
FAQ/ Chat online/ Leave a message/ December 20, 2023
Cassava flour is one of the cassava derivatives, which is produced from fresh cassava roots. The process of making cassava flour includes raw cassava cleaning, washing, peeling, crushing, dehydration, drying, fine milling, and sieving. Henan Jinrui company is a professional supplier of cassava processing equipment, which have been working in the field for 10 years. The article will introduce you to cassava derivatives equipment processing cassava flour.
Cassava flour processing equipment from Henan Jinrui consists of three sections: cassava tubers cleaning, processing, and drying.
Cassava flour processing equipment cleaning machines
Cassava tubers cleaning section
The main equipment for cassava tuber cleaning includes a feeding hopper, belt conveyor, dry sieve, and paddle washer. Firstly raw cassava is put into feeding hopper and then transported by belt conveyor to a dry sieve machine. The dry sieve machine will remove surface impurities attached to cassava roots and then send cassava into the paddle washing machine. Finally, the paddle washer machine will wash cassava roots completely.

Cassava processing section
Cleaned cassava from the previous section will be peeled first by a sand roller peeling machine. The new design sand roller peeling equipment can remove the first and second layers of cassava roots, ensuring the high quality of the end product. Then peeled cassava will be cut into small pieces by a cutting machine, and then crushed into fine mash by a rasper machine. After that, a de-sander machine will be used to separate sand impurities.
Cassava flour processing equipment drying machines
The cassava flour drying section
Cassava drying consists of two steps: cassava mash dewatering and drying. Firstly cassava mash is pumped into a plate-and-frame filter press for dehydration, from which we can get wet cassava cakes with a moisture content of around 40%. Then wet cakes will be crushed into powder form and sent to the flash dryer machine. After drying, we can get the final cassava flour with a moisture of 12-14%. To get fine-quality cassava flour, dried cassava flour will be crushed again by a fine milling machine. After fine milling, a sieving machine is installed to separate coarse flour and get high quality cassava flour.
The above are cassava derivatives equipment processing cassava flour. Apart from that, we can also supply machines for cassava starch production, garri production, and cassava chipping lines.
